Job Summary

Inspect guest rooms| public areas| pool| etc. after being cleaned by
Housekeeper to ensure quality standards. Run sold room reports| verify room
status| determine discrepant rooms| prioritize room cleaning| and update
status of departing guest rooms. Assist Housekeeping management in managing
daily activities. Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping|
Engineering| Front Office| and Laundry. Document and resolve issues with
discrepant rooms with the Front Desk. Prepare| distribute| and communicate
changes in assignment sheets/workboards. Communicate issues to next shift.
Complete required paperwork. Assist management in hiring| training|
scheduling| evaluating| counseling| disciplining| and motivating and coaching
employees.

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any
maintenance problems| safety hazards| accidents| or injuries; complete safety
training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean
and professional. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect
company assets. Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and

Responsibilities
Under general direction- technically supervises quality projects or major phases of significant quality projects- coordinating the efforts of technical support staff in the performance of assigned project.

ABOUT US

The Shoreline Power Group is a Joint Venture of Aecon- AECOM and SNC-Lavalin.
Shoreline Power Group will be completing the Fuel Channel and Feeder
Replacement (FCFR) project. The joint venture has been awarded a contract by
Bruce Power to execute the Unit 6 FCFR at the Bruce Nuclear Generating Station
in Kincardine- Ontario.

This project is part of Bruce Power`s Life Extension Program- which will allow
Bruce Power`s CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064- the
project is the centrepiece of the Major Component Replacement (MCR) program to
replace the main components of the reactor. Unit 6 is the first of six
reactors being replaced by Bruce Power through the MCR program.

The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of calandria tubes-
pressure tubes- and feeders for Unit 6- as well as construction management and
trade labour. Work is scheduled to commence in June 2020- with expected
completion in the third quarter of 2022.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Metrology Technician is responsible for measurements using laser trackers-
scanners- 3D modeling- CAD- visual planning aides- calibration and
qualification requirements and operations. This employee will report to the
Engineering Manager/Metrology Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Proficient in the operation of metrology- surveying- alignment- layout using measurement instruments.

CAD modeling in various software Spatial Analyzer- PolyWorks- Smart Plant- SolidWorks- AutoCAD

Complete all associated documentation and forms within a CWP.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring multitasking- problem solving- analytical skills. Able to work prioritize and work tight deadlines.

General Knowledge of QA Standards ISO 9001:2008-CSA N258.0-08-Z299.3-Z299.4.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members- internal customers and suppliers.

Strong Inspection background as a Metrologist.

The Quality Inspector is responsible for the performance of all quality
functions and duties as related to the construction activities performed under
Aecon`s QA Program. The position reports directly QC Supervisor and indirectly
to the Project QC Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate with the execution of Construction Inspection and Test Plans (CITP`s).

Perform incoming quality inspection of items (material- components- engineered equipment & tools- small tools- consumables- etc.) procured by Aecon or Free Issued by the Customer in accordance procedures or work instruction specified within Aecon project specific CITP`s.

Physical inspections shall include- but not be limited to:

Dimensional inspection

Visual inspection

Positive material identification

Documentation review shall include- but not be limited to:

Review of History Dockets / History Files

Review of Certified Material Reports

Review of Partial Data Reports

Complete all associated quality documentation and forms for specific inspections.

Participate in the development and maintenance of a material tracking system.

Issue of Non-conformance reports- and participation of their closure.
