In-Room Dining Operator – overnight shifts may be required (part time) To accurately take food and beverage orders from the guest and must successfully relay all details to the Captains and servers for timely delivery. Maximize sales through upselling and must be accommodating with guest concerns in a prompt- professional pleasant manner.

Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the In Room Dining Manager- Assistant Manager- Captain- responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Perform all specific duties as assigned by the Room Service Manager and Captain Takes responsibility for extending service
up to standards Perform opening and closing duties according to outlined standards of the department Extremely familiar with all menu items- specials- and preparation of food offered to be able to answer general inquiries in order to effectively upsell to menu Must be familiar with all policies- especially details regarding special accommodations- such as |romantic dinner| requests Always conduct themselves in a pleasant and helpful attitude towards guests- colleagues and supervisors Maintain a clean environment and keep clear of hazards and malfunctioning equipment. To report any malfunctioning equipment to your supervisor Organize a system of all updated items pertaining to room service situations (amenity records- daily orders etc.) Suggestively sell items and anticipate guest needs and desires Relay all concerns to Managers and Captains Maintain all references and record all problem situation and valuable information in detail Follows telephone techniques and procedures Orders stationary for the department- including ribbons- order pads etc. Ensures flawless amenity billing- delivery- filing and preparation

Qualifications: Previous experience in food and beverage related work Cash handling/transaction abilities Excellent interpersonal and team player attitude Thoroughly organized and attention to detail oriented individual Must be knowledgeable in food products- cooking methods- wines and spirits Fluent in English Stron

computer skills Able to multi-task Ability to work varying shifts including overnight

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
Constant sitting and standing throughout shift Occasional lifting and carrying up to
35 lbs Occasional kneeling- pushing- pulling- lifting Occasional ascending or descending ladders- stairs and ramps
